Highlights

Location: Georgian neighbourhood with key attractions

Rooms: Corner Suite with city views

Dining: The London Carriage Works with gluten-free options

Wellness: 15-meter indoor pool and saunas

Unique: Liverpool's first hotel cinema

“The hotel's design and location are clearly a draw, making it a solid base in Liverpool's Georgian Quarter near the city center. While some rooms can be noisy and service in the restaurant inconsistent, the on-site cinema, spa, and sustainable practices provide distinctive benefits. Overall, it's a property with notable strengths, though some aspects require attention to match its ambition.”

Fantastic Stay!

walkable locationquick check-inbigger roomhelpful staff
The hotel had a walkable location, about 20 minutes to the docks and Mathew Street. Check-in was quick. Reception staff helped find a bigger room, offering more space for getting ready. The hotel provided gloves when I forgot mine for fake tan!
The room lacked a mini fridge, which would have been useful for keeping drinks cold.
Service
9/10
The reception staff was friendly and ready to help with any requests! They assisted with directions and provided extra amenities quickly. Staff efficiently managed a room change for my convenience.
Facilities
8/10
The hotel boasts a spa. I did not use it. There is a bar that serves drinks. The location is ideal, near many dining options to explore.
Rooms
9/10
The room provided a clean and modern space, though it could use a small fridge. The bathroom had a separate bath and a big shower. The bed was very comfortable after a long day.

The location was walkable to the docks and Mathew Street (a twenty-minute stroll).
I had some issues with the bathroom lighting. There was only an option for very bright light or complete darkness. I found this a bit impractical when I wanted a relaxing bath. It kind of ruined the experience i had anticipated.

The location was convenient for exploring local attractions.
The bathroom lighting was impractical. It was either too bright or completely dark, rendering it useless for a relaxing bath. I expected more attention to detail.

The location proved quite convenient. The room provided was nice and quiet. I appreciated the large walk-in shower in my room.
The hotel could not help me find a place to charge my electric car. I spent about 2.5 hours driving around to find one. The staff was very nice in trying to help, but they lacked the necessary information.
